1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AlbumDrive (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AlbumDrive is a platform that allows event organizers to collect photos and videos from their guests and save them automatically to their personal Google Drive.

Galleries and albums are accessible via direct links or QR codes provided by the organizer. Anyone with access to the link or QR code can view the gallery and its content (unless protected with a PIN code on supported plans). Media uploading by guests is limited to the active duration of the event, but the gallery will remain accessible indefinitely until the organizer deletes the event from the platform. When an event is deleted, web gallery access is immediately disabled and associated event folders in Google Drive are automatically made private.

3. User Responsibilities

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create and administer events on AlbumDrive.
• Google Account: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials.
• Content & Moderation: You are solely responsible for the content uploaded to your events. AlbumDrive acts strictly as a technical intermediary and does not actively monitor or control guest uploads. Depending on your plan, moderation tools are available to review and remove content.
• Third-Party & Minor Consent: Organizers and guests warrant that they have obtained proper consent from all individuals appearing in uploaded photos and videos. When uploading media featuring minors, the uploader warrants and represents that they hold explicit authorization from the minor's parent, legal guardian, or authorized representative.
• Prohibited Use: You agree not to use the Service to upload illegal, offensive, harmful, or infringing content.

4. Prohibited Content and Minor Protection

It is strictly prohibited to upload or distribute through AlbumDrive:

• Any Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or exploitation of minors. AlbumDrive enforces a strict zero tolerance policy for such content and will immediately terminate accounts, preserve technical logs, and report violations to law enforcement and relevant authorities (including NCMEC).
• Explicit sexual, pornographic, or non-consensual content.
• Imagery or videos of minors in inappropriate or compromising situations.
• Material that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
• Content promoting violence, hatred, discrimination, harassment, or unlawful acts.
• Material violating the privacy or personality rights of third parties without consent.
• Any content prohibited by applicable law.

Violation of these rules will result in immediate account termination without refund.

5. Google Drive Integration & Permissions

Our Service integrates directly with the Google Drive API. By using AlbumDrive, you acknowledge that:

• Storage capacity is governed by your personal Google Drive account tier. We are not liable for storage caps, outages, or API limitations imposed by Google.
• To enable seamless photo and video rendering for authorized guests with the event link without requiring them to log into Google, event subfolders in Google Drive are configured with link-sharing read permissions.
• When an event is deleted or Google Drive is disconnected from AlbumDrive, the Service automatically revokes these public sharing permissions in Google Drive, restoring the folders to a strictly private state in the organizer's account. If Google Drive is reconnected, public sharing permissions are automatically restored for active events.

6. Intellectual Property & Image Rights

• Your Content: You retain all intellectual property rights over photos and videos uploaded to your Google Drive. AlbumDrive claims no ownership over your media and will not use your personal content for marketing or commercial purposes.
• User Representations: Uploaders declare and warrant that they possess all required rights and releases for the media submitted.
• Our Service: The code, interfaces, design, and branding of AlbumDrive are our exclusive property.
• Open-source components: The Service uses Mediabunny, distributed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. Its source code and license are available at github.com/Vanilagy/mediabunny.

7. Event Deletion & Account Termination

Organizers can delete events at any time from their dashboard. Deleting an event will:

• Terminate the public web gallery link.
• Automatically revoke public link permissions on the associated Google Drive folders, keeping all media securely in private mode within the organizer's account.

AlbumDrive reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service, with or without prior notice, upon:

• Violation of these Terms of Service.
• Inappropriate, abusive, or harmful conduct towards other users.
• Uploading prohibited content as defined in section 4.

Termination for cause does not entitle the user to a refund.

8. Content Reporting

If you find content that violates these terms in any AlbumDrive album, report it to:

We commit to reviewing and taking action within 48 business hours of receiving the report.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AlbumDrive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, use, reputation, or other intangible losses.

10. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
